Yay! It’s June, which means the beginning of marathon training!! And I’m… stuck in bed all week with the wicked coxsackie virus and I’m not running a marathon, anyway. Oh, this season’s off to a great start.
I am not complaining, though, because I can run, thank you, Jesus. Many of my friends are injured and heartbroken at being (temporarily, guys!) unable to run, so I will muddle through every mile with enormous gratitude just for being out there. (Love you, all!)
While I have chosen not to run my planned full marathon, I am extremely excited that MY HUSBAND is going to do the Couch to 5K plan!!! I will be chronicling his journey here.
My plan is to enjoy the heck out of a bunch of 5Ks and train for the Grand Rapids half marathon this October. My long term plan is to run the Grand Rapids full marathon the following October.
